Discover the amazing variety of colour found in nature and explore a number of dyeing techniques using plant materials on natural fibres.
In this workshop attendees will have the opportunity to explore painting and creating patterns on fibre and ph modifying:
Play with plant colour on natural fibre swatches and see what colour you can get from a variety of natural materials - extracted from eucalyptus leaves, food waste, flowers and some natural material extracts. Experiment with ph modifications to create a beautiful expanded natural dye palette
Paint or flower print on a small silk scarf or silk eye mask
No natural dye experience required - this is about colour play and experimentation.
